Making a space picture every day until I get bored: Day 3 (Pretty burnt out from work today. Lazy image :/ ) via /r/spaceporn

Uranus’ moon Miranda, whith a mean radius of 236km it is the fifth largest of Uranus’ moons. Nearly everything we know about this moon was learned from the Voyager 2 encounter in 1986. During the flyby the southern hemisphere of the moon was pointed towards the Sun, so only that part was studied. via /r/spaceporn

An artist's impression of the dwarf planet Haumea and its moons. A day on Haumea only lasts for 3.5 Earth hours, this is what causes its ovalish shape. I hope a Voyager like probe will visit Haumea and the other dwarf planets someday. via /r/spaceporn
