Impressive view of NGC 5468, a spiral galaxy about 110,000 light-years across. In the last 20 years we have seen 5 stars explode as supernova in this galaxy. In normal spiral galaxies like our own, we witness maybe 1 every 50 years, so NGC 5468 is a bit of an oddball. [3979 x 3897](Image:ESA/Hubble)
